Calista holds a Master of Science in Counselling Psychology from Assumption University, Thailand, a Master of Arts in Drama and Movement Therapy from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama (UK), a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Bristol, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a Minor in Management from the National University of Singapore. She is an Associate Member of the Singapore Psychological Society and the Singapore Association for Counselling; she is also certified as a crisis responder by the National Organization for Victim Assistance (NOVA), USA.

Prior to her clinical work, Calista was the Co-founder and CEO of an international multi award-winning health foods company, leading the organisation through significant regional growth while working across diverse cultural and business environments. She was also invited as a guest lecturer at MBA and Executive MBA programmes at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, where she taught Conscious Leadership and Cross-cultural Entrepreneurship. Alongside her psychotherapy work, Calista has extensive experience supporting individuals with special needs, including children and adults who are physically challenged, preverbal, or nonverbal. Her background brings a grounded, emotionally attuned, and real-world understanding to her work with clients navigating leadership stress, burnout, identity, relationships, and major life transitions.

Calista is an integrative psychotherapist who works with children, teenagers, adults, couples, and families. She specialises in trauma and complex trauma (C-PTSD), attachment wounds, anxiety, depression, identity exploration, grief and loss, relationship difficulties, burnout, addiction recovery, and cross-cultural adjustment. Having lived across Singapore, Hong Kong, China, the United Kingdom, Europe, Australia, Thailand, and the United States, she brings a deeply nuanced understanding of expatriate life, belonging, cultural identity, and the emotional impact of transition and relocation. She also works closely with individuals navigating LGBTQIA+ concerns, pre- and post-natal emotional challenges, and relational difficulties within couples and families.

Grounded in Rogerian Humanistic Therapy, Relational Psychotherapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Integrative Somatic Psychotherapy, Jungian Analysis, Play Therapy, and Expressive Arts Therapy, Calista’s approach combines clinical depth with warmth, creativity, and emotional presence. Drawing from her training in Drama and Movement Therapy, somatic trauma work, and Jungian psychology, she supports clients not only cognitively, but also emotionally, relationally, and creatively — helping them move beyond survival patterns towards greater self-understanding, resilience, connection, and meaningful change.

Clients often experience Calista as warm, perceptive, compassionate, and deeply present. She offers a safe and supportive space where clients can explore difficult experiences at a pace that feels manageable, while developing deeper emotional insight, self-acceptance, and lasting personal growth.
