Zachariah holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Huntington University and is currently completing a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy at Oklahoma Christian University. He is a certified PREPARE/ENRICH facilitator, a curriculum designed to support premarital and married couples, and holds a Trauma-Informed Family Support Certificate. Additionally, he is Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT)-trained for working with parents and young children with behavioral problems, such as defiance or tantrums, has completed training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and is a student member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy AAMFT.

During his clinical training, Zachariah has received systemic preparation working with individuals, children, couples, families, and groups. In his work with couples, he focuses on repairing and navigating attachment injuries to foster emotional safety and connection, helping partners rebuild trust especially after infidelity, navigate misunderstandings, conflicts, and improve communication. He has extensive experience helping individuals navigate a wide range of challenges, including depression, anxiety, ADHD, anger management, time management, career decision, and the profound impact of loneliness. His clinical work is deeply informed by an understanding of trauma, and he supports those working through histories of abuse, addiction, and complex attachment trauma. He also supports students and families as they navigate academic pressures, familial difficulties, and identity issues helping them develop the tools necessary to thrive in their personal and relational lives.

Furthermore, Zachariah possesses specialized experience as a crisis intervention specialist. He has received several intensive trainings, including Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST), Crisis Counseling and Suicide Prevention Training, and Counseling on Access to Lethal Means. This background allows him to provide steady support to individuals experiencing suicidality, self-harm, and severe social isolation.

While his clinical practice is grounded in these areas, his extensive international missions experience informs his appreciation for the complexities of the expatriate journey. Having engaged with diverse communities in Cuba, Guatemala, the Dominican Republic, Tanzania, Namibia, and Thailand, he has developed a unique perspective on the emotional challenges of relocation and the importance of finding belonging in a new environment. This global lens makes him particularly attuned to the needs of the international community as they navigate identity and meaning across cultural contexts.

Zachariah works from a systemic and relational perspective, believing that healing takes place within the context of our relationships and environments. His clinical approach is integrative, drawing on Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), and experiential and strategic modalities to address both individual well-being and relational health. Grounded in a person-centered and trauma-informed framework, he is committed to creating a warm, non-judgmental therapeutic space where clients feel supported in building resilience and cultivating lasting, authentic relationships.
