Ewelina holds a Master’s degree in Psychology from the Catholic University of Lublin in Poland and is a full member of the Singapore Psychological Society. She is currently completing her second Master’s degree, a Master of Counselling at Australia’s Monash University, as a part of her training to become a professional Counselling Psychologist.

Before moving into counselling, Ewelina worked in international healthcare recruitment across Europe. In this role, she not only recruited and selected best medical professionals but also supported them going through career changes, adjusting to new countries, languages, and dealing with workplace and cultural challenges. Therefore, she is familiar with Expatriate’s experiences of transition.

After moving to Singapore eight years ago, Ewelina experienced many of the challenges that come with relocation and cultural adjustment for her family and herself.

She also gained experience working with children and pre-teens in an international school in Singapore, which strengthened her understanding of children’s developmental needs and family dynamics.

Ewelina’s life and professional experiences inspired her to focus on counselling individuals, families and couples.

Regarding children and adolescents, she is particularly interested in working with those who are experiencing challenges such as learning struggles, behavioural issues, anger management, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, building self-esteem, body image, third cultural kid adjustment and difficulties in peer relationships.

With individual adults she would also like to focus on helping clients manage emotions, cope with stress, adjust to new cultural environments, and navigate life and career transitions, as well as explore questions related to identity and purpose.

Concerning the couples, she would like to support their communication, parenting alignment, navigating through misunderstanding and building closer emotional bond.

Ewelina aims to create a warm, safe, and non-judgmental space where people feel comfortable talking about their experiences. She takes an integrative approach to therapy, drawing on elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, mindfulness, and person-centred therapy, and adapting her approach to each client’s needs.

Ewelina believes in the importance of ethical practice and in every person’s capacity for growth, resilience, and positive change.

Ewelina provides counselling in English and Polish.
