Psycho-Educational Assessment

This is a comprehensive psycho-educational evaluation to assess an individual's cognitive, academic skill and ability, as well as diagnosing various emotional, social, and behavioural issues. This assessment is suitable for issues relating to Giftedness, report for school transfer, Dyslexia and learning disabilities, Autism, Aspergers, Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity, Anxiety, Depression, Anger Control, Alcohol Abuse, etc.

Career Assessment

A career assessment is a comprehensive evaluation completed by our psychologist to assess an individual's cognitive abilities, academic skills, personality traits, and career interest.  This provides a more complete picture of the individual, resulting in an accurate guidance report with specific career and/or course recommendations matched to the individual's strengths, goals, and interests.

Custody & Access Assessment

A custody and access assessment is used by the court to help determine the needs and interests of the child and what parenting arrangement can best meet those needs. This assessment is completed by an impartial psychologist who has the best interest of the child as the focus of the evaluation. Typically, the assessment involves interviews with both parents, administration of psychological tests, the viewing of a parent-child play session, interviews with collateral contacts, a formal report and a review session.

Legal Assessments

When an individual is charged with a criminal offense, his or her mental heath, mental status and /or cognitive ability may be a factor when determining the sentence. A psychological assessment for legal proceedings is a comprehensive report based on clinical observations, interviews, a review of relevant documents, administration of various psychological assessment tools and, if necessary, interviews with other important individuals.
