Kim holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology and a Masters of Science Degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Bremen, Germany. She also hold a Diploma in CBT/REBT from the College of Behavioural Therapies in UK. Kim also holds a Graduate Basis Chartered Membership within the British Psychological Society.  In addition to counselling in private practice, Kim has experience working in clinical settings, academic research, as well as Learning & Development for organisations.

As one of her main areas of work, Kim helps children and teens with behavioural problems and learning difficulties. Linked to this, Kim works with parents who struggle with parenting and who deal with children’s behavioural issues.  Kim has spent considerable amounts of time living in different countries (Singapore, Australia, UK, Germany, Bolivia, to name a few) interacting with people from a wide range of cultures and therefore is well placed to help expats who are struggling with adjustments in life changes and other aspects.

She believes that no matter our age, we all need to get to know our own resources to feel good. That is why therapy should be an encouraging atmosphere to help clients go through changes. Opening yourself to someone is not always easy, but in therapy nobody will be judged. With her empathy and acceptance, Kim helps clients to find solutions to their problems, to get to know their internal resources and strengthen their self-confidence. Therapy has the ability to give clients the tools they need to stay strong on their path so they know how to solve future problems in resourceful and successful ways.
