Assessing & Managing Children with Behavioural Struggles All children have behavioural challenges at times. However, for some children their behaviour is more serious, leading to problems learning, getting along with peers and adults and difficulty with day-to-day functioning. In this workshop, we will focus on three of the more common behavioural issues that affect school aged children. Participants will gain knowledge about the following: Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder; Autism Spectrum Disorder; and Bullies and Victims. Moving Out is Just the Beginning - Coping with Your Child Leaving Home Being a parent is a varied and challenging experience.  Over the years you learn to subtly change your role to adjust to the needs of your growing child.  You are always on call in their lives to provide them with stability and support.  But what happens when they leave home?  Some parents feel apprehensive about their children leaving them.  They wonder how the children are going to cope on their own.  Some parents worry how they are going to cope without their children!  Others wonder how the rest of the family will manage.  Still others are trying not to think about it.  Attend the workshop to equip yourself for dealing with this major life transition that we can't escape.
