Anne holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology as well as a Master’s of Guidance and Counselling from the James Cook University in Singapore. She has completed Level 2 Training in Gottman Couples Therapy and uses Gottman Method Couple Therapy in her work.
Anne has worked with various client groups ranging from teenagers to adults. Being an expat herself, she has a strong multicultural awareness and a deep understanding of the adjustment process and its psychological impacts. Anne has interest in a wide range of issues, including: stress management, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, anger management, low self-esteem and trauma.
Anne uses CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), Behavioural Therapy, PCT (Person-Cantered Therapy), and Reality Therapy in her work. Anne is a member of the Australian Counselling Association. Her goal is to empower her clients to manage their mental health and take control of their lives.
Anne provides counselling fluently in English and German.
