If your therapist is no longer in TCP, treatment summary report to your new therapist is chargeable at S$160 per hour (min 1 hour) as another therapist will need to spend time reviewing your case record. Request for reports for other purpose(s) will be reviewed and, if approved, is chargeable at S$160 per hour (min 1 hour).   Copies of Receipts Original receipt will be provided at time of payment and it is the responsibility of the client to keep this in a safe place. Should copies of receipts be required for insurance purpose, administrative fee of S$15 (for up to 30 receipts) is chargeable.   Mode of Payment We accept cash, NETS, and cheque only.   Office Policies Confidentiality:  The information obtained from you will remain confidential and will not be shared with anyone except under the following conditions: (1) perceived risks to commit serious to yourself or others; (2) Information indicating the abuse of children; (3) Valuable information during a medical emergency; (4) An order from the court to disclose information.  From time to time, our counsellors, therapists, and psychologists will be consulting with colleagues as a means of providing professional services.  Good therapeutic practices requires all counsellors (of all levels of qualification) to have regular supervision to monitor their practice.  Your confidentiality is fully protected during any of these consultations. Fee Agreement:  The Counselling Place LLP has established a fee of S$160 per 50 minutes session (starting from appointment time).  If sessions exceed the allotted 50 minutes, please note that you will be charged for the additional time.  The fee is payable in Singapore Dollars by cash, NETS, or cheque only at the closure of each session. Cancellation:    In order to be effective, therapy needs to take place on a regular basis. The best results occur when appointments are consistently scheduled and regularly attended.  Put differently, missed appointments inevitably slow the healing work and jeopardize treatment continuity (time is lost in the next session by having to catch up with all that has gone on between sessions).  The process of therapy is a serious commitment to growth and needs to be prioritized to maximize its effectiveness.  If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please notify The Counselling Place office at least 24 hours prior to your schedule time so we may be able to offer your appointment to someone else. You may call us at 6887-3695 and leave a message or you may also cancel by email.  If you fail to do this, you will be charged for the missed session.  This is a standard practice within the counselling profession. Therapist Contact:  Our Counsellors, Therapists, and Psychologists provide services within the 50 minutes therapy session.  Your therapist is generally not available outside the scheduled appointment time.  Our admin staff would be able to assist you with any logistical and appointment issues.  Any issues that you are reluctant to make known to the admin staff are issues that need to be dealt with within a therapy session.  In such cases, please make an appointment to see your therapist.  In cases of emergency, please make clear to the adminstrative staff the nature of emergency so that your therapist could respond appropriately.
